Abstract
In this project, we design and develop vizualization techniques for large data stored in the cloud using large ambient displays, as well as gesture-based interaction techniques to access that data. Our goal is to derive new knowledge in the form of new technical designs of vizualization and interaction techniques to access large cloud data efficiently.




Concrete objectives
  1. Design visualization techniques for cloud data on large ambient displays.
  2. Design gesture-based interaction techniques for cloud data and large ambient displays.
  3. Development of practical applications.

The team includes experienced researchers and PhD students in Human-Computer Interaction and Software Engineering.

Research activities are conducted in the Machine Intelligence and Information Visualization Research Laboratory of the MANSiD Research Center (Romania) and the State Key Lab of Software Development Environment, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University (China).
