Abstract
In this project, we address the problem of gesture interaction with smart ambient systems to acquire new scientific knowledge for the design and development of feedback techniques for gesture interfaces. Although gesture input is now common for mobile devices and video games in the form of touch, accelerated motion, and whole-body movements, interacting with gestures in new, smart environments is still problematic.



Concrete objectives
  1. Design of feedback techniques for gesture interfaces.
  2. Development of a wearable prototype for vibrotactile feedback.
  3. Evaluation of feedback techniques for gesture interfaces by conducting scientific experiments
