  • Computing power in double precision proved by Linpack: 6.45 Tflops
  • Total storage capacity 6,936 Tbytes
  • Hybride architecture IBM Roadrunner (place 2 in Top 500, www.top500.org), blade servera IBM BladeCenter LS22 and blade servers IBM BladeCenter QS22 ratio 1:6 (one server LS22 with AMD Opteron processors at 6 servers blade QS22 with IBM PowerXCell 8i processors.

 

Services Offer:

1. Complex calculus for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.

2. High complexity calculus neccessary to solve the acute problems concerning the environment and natural resources saving.

3.  The possibility of real development and testing of middleware applications and grid technologies.

4. Interconnection with other Grid networks.

 

The equipment is installed in the Data Center of the High Performance Computing Laboratory of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University Stefan cel Mare Suceava
